Summary
Pineapple Tomato is an heirloom variety known for its striking marbled interior and smooth, balanced flavor.
Ribbed fruits mature to a warm orange exterior and reveal vibrant streaks of yellow, orange, and red inside. The thick, meaty flesh makes it especially well suited for slicing and fresh summer dishes.
As an indeterminate tomato, Pineapple continues growing and producing throughout the season, offering steady harvests from mid-summer until frost when properly supported.
Care
Pineapple Tomato Care
Plant outdoors after danger of frost has passed and nighttime temperatures consistently remain above 50–55°F. Choose a location with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Grow in rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Water deeply at the base, keeping soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
Apply a slow release fertilizer at planting and again during active growth to support fruit production.
Provide staking or caging early in the season. Indeterminate vines will continue growing upward and setting fruit until frost.
Harvest when fruits develop a deep orange tone and yield slightly to gentle pressure.
