Portulacaria afra ‘Medio-picta’, also known as Midstripe Rainbow Bush or Spekboom, is an easy-to-grow succulent with bright, eye-catching foliage. Its small, round green leaves feature a creamy white stripe down the center, creating a fresh variegated look. The stems are pink to burgundy and can grow long and branch freely, adding beautiful color contrast in pots and arrangements.
This plant can grow as a small shrub over time and responds well to pruning to keep its shape. It may produce tiny pink flowers when mature. It thrives in bright light with well-draining soil and infrequent watering. Propagation is simple from stem cuttings, which root quickly and help create a fuller plant. -
Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.

Finally, a Loofah That Isn't Skimpy
I’ve gone through my fair share of bath puffs, and usually, they’re pretty disappointing—either they’re super thin or they fall apart before you even get a good lather going. These Amazon Basics ones are a total breath of fresh air because they’re actually nice and full. They have that dense, fluffy mesh that makes even a tiny drop of body wash turn into a ton of bubbles, which is exactly what you want.
The size is perfect, and unlike those cheap, flimsy ones, these actually have enough texture to exfoliate your skin and get it feeling smooth without being too scratchy. They also have a sturdy little rope so you can hang them up to dry easily. I honestly liked these so much that I’ve already bought them a second time. If you’re looking for a simple shower upgrade that actually does its job, you really can’t go wrong with these.

A Spa Experience at Home
I absolutely love this bath loofah—it’s one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference in my routine. The texture is just right: firm enough to exfoliate and leave my skin feeling super smooth, but still gentle so it’s not irritating. It lathers up beautifully with just a little bit of body wash, making every shower feel like a mini spa session.
The quality is great—no unraveling or falling apart after multiple uses, and the loop makes it easy to hang and dry quickly. I’ve noticed my skin feels noticeably cleaner and softer since I started using it regularly.
If you’re looking to elevate your shower experience, this loofah is a must-have. Affordable, durable, and refreshing—I’m definitely buying more for backups and gifts!

Good Quality!
Much larger than I expected. Good quality. I have been using for a month now and it is holding up very well. Great value too. So much better than cheap dollar store versions I have bought in the past.
