Description
This adorable plant is the perfect gift for showing love- be that to your partner, your friends or family or even yourself! Its leaves are shaped like hearts, and this variety has stripes of white variegation on each edge, making for an even rarer look! With some patience, this vining plant can be trained to grow up or left to dangle free to fit your interior aesthetic. If new leaves are losing the variegation, this is a sign it needs a brighter spot, so keep an eye out for that. In a bright spot, and especially with high humidity, this Hoya will reward you with its beautiful, standout foliage and maybe even clusters of fragrant creamy-white and purple blooms if it's really happy!
Thrives in bright, indirect light, and will benefit from a splash of morning or evening sun. Make sure it gets 1-2 hours of direct sunlight in autumn and winter, throughout its dormant period.
Water
Allow the top third of the soil to dry out between waters, and reduce watering in winter and in dimmer spots. Make sure you don't leave any water sitting in the foliage (or flowers) as this can cause damage.
Humidity
Used to a rainforest environment, this plant likes it humid; introduce a humidity tray if possible, and hose down the leaves regularly to keep them free of dust. If the leaves start to brown and curl, this is a sign that the air is too dry.
Soil
Use an anthurium mix and repot every three years in spring as the plant grows. If it's flowering, keep it pot-bound a little longer to prevent it getting shocked by the move and losing flowers.
Food
Feed every four waters throughout the year. To tailor your feeding even more, look for a Nitrogen-heavy fertiliser when the foliage needs to develop more, and to encourage flowers once it's mature look for one with higher Potassium (K) content, like tomato feed.
Temperature
Ideal temperature is between 15-27°C; make sure it does not get colder than 12°C in winter or for longer periods.
Pet-safe
Hoya are not toxic but can have bad reactions for your pets, including vomiting/ diarrhoea
Sprouts Top Tips
While this plant likes it humid, it does not like soggy soil- make sure not to over-water it. Keep an eye out for yellowing leaves, especially those closer to the soil, to spot this early and reduce the frequency of your waters before the roots are damaged.

Does not swallow fur
SO CUTE! Because it is made with strong SHORT furry cloth my Schnauzer can not pull the fur out and swallow it! Great small dog toy!!

My Puppy Loves this Indestructible Dragon

My puppy (8 month old black lab mix) loves, loves, loves her dragon. She has had it for 2 months now. It is one of her favorites and gets daily rough play time. It's her go-to toy for fetch and tug games, as well as just general mouthy play. The squeaker gave out after about 4 weeks, but she would binge squeak for prolonged periods (kind of like chomping on gum) so it was almost a blessing when it went silent. She still chomps on it, but at least now I don't have to hear it. Other than the fact that it's a little grungy and bedraggled from so much loving, it is still in amazing shape. The seams and fur are all still intact. There are no visible holes, rips, or weak spots. I love Chew Guard Technology.
This dragon replaced her goDog Iguana (from PetSmart) that developed a tear in the fur after about 4 months of heavy use. (It was superficial, just the outer fur layer and not the innards, but we disposed of it before she could eat more fur.) She can be pretty rough on her toys and I can never predict if any given toy will last minutes or months. The goDog stuffies definitely fall into the "months" category, even with rough daily use.
Edit: The dragon lasted about 6 months of intensive, hard play before it developed a small tear in the fur. I patched it a couple times, but once my pup discovers a weak spot, it's the kiss of death for any stuffed item. We had to dispose of the dragon (so sad) to keep her from eating any more of the fur. We replaced the dragon with the goDog Chameleon, which is still going strong. I think we will go back to the dragon for our next toy because it's just so darned cute. We gave the dragon to my niece for her golden retriever puppy who is very chew-happy. That dragon is also doing well. You've just gotta love that chew-guard technology. This is one tough toy.

Indestructible Toys My Dobermans ❤️

Actually Respect! goDog Is a Lifesaver
The variety of size and colors are phenomenal 😇
I have two Dobermans — serious, determined power chewers — and I’ve spent years trying to find toys that survive even a few days.
I’ve tried the big brands (Kong, Goughnuts, Jolly Ball, you name it) — and while some toys last a little while, almost everything eventually ends up shredded, de-squeaked, or in pieces.
goDog toys are the ONLY plush toys my Dobermans won’t destroy.
We own multiple goDog toys now — dragons, dinosaurs, lizards — mostly in the large size (perfect for Dobermans), but even a few medium-sized ones hold up surprisingly well.
