The Maxi-Cosi Kani 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is designed to be your child’s car seat from the first ride home from the hospital through the big kid booster stage. This all in one car seat has 4 modes: rear-facing car seat (5–40 lbs., 19"–40"), forward-facing car seat (30–65 lbs., 34.4"–49"), belt-positioning booster seat (40–100 lbs., 43.4"–52"), and backless booster seat (40–100 lbs., 43.4"–57").

Parents love Kani’s slim car seat design which fits 3 across most back seats––perfect for growing families. Getting your little one in and out of the car is quick and simple with ClipQuik™, our magnetic chest clip that opens with 1 hand. This grows with me car seat features QuikFit, a 10-position headrest and harness system that adjusts with 1 hand without needing to rethread the harness. The Kani infant to toddler car seat has ReclineFit, the 5-position adjustable base with 1-hand recline for your little one’s comfort and a secure fit in your vehicle.

Key to the design of our car seat for babies and kids are the premium fabrics. EcoCare is our future-friendly, 100%-recycled fabric made from plastic bottles. The yarn produced is soft, comfortable, and breathable––perfect for your little one. All fabrics are machine-washable and dryer-safe.

And our soft, plush PureCosi™ fabric is made without added fire retardant treatment, which is better for both your child and our planet.

When your little one reaches the big kid stage, intuitive, 1-hand release converts the Kani all-in-one into a backless booster car seat in just seconds.
