Transform your indoor haven with the captivating charm of the Baby Scindapsus pictus Argyraeus, affectionately known as Satin Pothos. Each handpicked specimen, curated with care by our expert team at Happy Houseplants, encapsulates the innate beauty and irresistible allure of this cherished botanical gem.
The Satin Pothos, adorned with its mesmerizing silver variegation and delicate heart-shaped leaves, brings an air of understated elegance to any space. Originating from Southeast Asia, this resilient plant thrives in various indoor environments, making it a perfect choice for both seasoned plant enthusiasts and beginners alike.
Caring for the Satin Pothos is a breeze:
Light Requirements: Provide your Satin Pothos with bright, indirect sunlight to maintain its vibrant foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause leaf burn.
Temperature and Humidity: Maintain moderate room temperatures between 18°C and 24°C (65°F and 75°F) and moderate humidity levels. Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or excessively dry air.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings, and water thoroughly when needed. During the growing season (spring and summer), increase watering frequency, and reduce it in the dormant season (fall and winter).
Soil and Potting: Plant your Satin Pothos in a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. Consider adding perlite or sand to improve drainage. Repot the plant as needed to accommodate its growth.
Fertilising: Feed your Satin Pothos with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every four to six weeks during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and lush foliage.
Size: 6cm Pot
Styling with the Satin Pothos offers endless possibilities:
