Plantacote 14-14-14 Granular Fertilizer 

Plantacote NPK 14-14-14 is a 100% coated controlled release fertilizer containing the macronutrients nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Plantacote NPK releases these major nutrients over a period of approximately 4 months. Release time is controlled by a unique polymer coating process and the soil temperature. pH, substrate, salt content, microbial activity and the amount of irrigation water do not affect nutrient release. The stated release time of nutrients of approximately 4 months applies to an average substrate temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Higher temperatures accelerate the nutrient release (e.g. 80 degrees F, approximately 3 months) lower temperatures delay it (i.e. 60 degrees F, up to 5 months). The nutrients in Plantacote NPK 4M start releasing approximately 7 - 10 days following application ensuring crop safety with minimal risk of salt stress, even after storage of premixed growing media for up to 3 - 4 weeks.
