Corpuscularia lehmannii variegata, also known as the Variegated Ice Plant, is an extraordinary succulent with roots in the biodiverse Eastern Cape region of South Africa. This cultivar is a stunning example of extreme variegation, with foliage that has little green chlorophyll, giving it a striking bright yellow hue accented by creamy-yellow and grey-green tones. These fleshy, triangular leaves are arranged in opposite pairs along ascending stems, creating a sculptural, geometric appearance.

This compact plant typically grows to about 20 cm in height and can spread up to 30 cm in width. Its daisy-like yellow flowers appear during the warmer months of spring and summer, reaching up to 4 cm in diameter. The blooms add a vibrant splash of colour that contrasts beautifully with the unique variegated foliage.

This extreme variegated form is not only eye-catching but also hardy. It thrives in well-draining, gritty soils and full sun, though it can tolerate partial shade.
