Its leaves are thick and range in colours from vibrant green to grey-green stemming from a bulbous base that is usually brown in colour. Tillandsia Seleriana's leaves often grow slightly curled at the tips.

When in bloom, Tillandsia Seleriana puts on quite the display! It forms large, complex flowering bracts in pink hues and produces violet coloured flowers. Care Tips:
- Provide plenty of bright to direct or dappled sunlight to help this plant stay colourful and to help encourage blooming.
- For watering, use rain, distilled, or tap water that has been left out to dechlorinate for 24 hours first
- Soak once every other week for 30 minutes to an hour. Mist regularly in between soaks using a Mister Spray Bottle. Adjust this schedule as needed according to how dry or humid your space is. This species is drought tolerant and prefers frequent misting over long soaks.
- Place upside-down someplace with good air circulation to allow the plant to dry after watering.
