Dracaena angustifolia or Dracaena marginata is native to Madagascar. It is also known as Dragon Tree and Corn Plant.

Light: Bright to low indirect light. Can tolerate lower light, but thrives in bright light. Can acclimate to dapple direct sun.  

Water: Water when the soil is about 75-100% dry. Leaves will begin to curl in and/or droop. Dracaena have a thick trunk that stores a lot of water. They can experience root rot easily from overwatering, so make sure the soil dries thoroughly in between watering. 

Repotting: Repot into a nutrient rich, chunky soil. You can add orchid bark, gravel, LECA, perlite, rice hulls, etc into a regular potting mix. If repotting into a glazed ceramic or plastic pot, you won’t need to water as often as the pot will retain moisture. Terra cotta or unglazed ceramic is sometimes better to allow more airflow to the soil.

Pet-Safe: No, sap contains streroidal saponinsa substance that irritates skin, mucous membranes and the body. Pet will need to consume a lot of this plant to experience any irritation or sickness, it is okay to be around your pet.

Currently surviving a SUPER CHEWER!

Welcomed a pomeranian/terrier mix to the family recently. Although he is small he is very capable of tearing things apart! He has destroyed many, many types and brands of toys. He's had this toy for almost a month now and it has come out of this time almost completely unscathed! You'll notice there's a little damage to one of the hands and top of the head but hes managed to destroy toys in an hour or less, so I consider this a big win and will absolutely replace with the same product when the time comes! There's a hole, I think for treats. I haven't used that. It also has a smell, almost like baby powder. In any event, absolutely worth the price which I found to be great to begin with. My dog loves it, and me and my house are soo glad he's chewing on this! If you have a super chewer (I'd never heard of that) I strongly suggest this toy. They also have larger ones for bigger breeds!

I haven't been able to find another one like it, so I decided to get this alligator despite it not being for his size. It still seems durable and I think would last longer with a dog under 35lbs. I give it 5 stars bc it is a well-liked chew toy in my house with the dogs I have that like to chew. It seems well-made and great for cleaning teeth.
