Overview ▾
Algae Controlled ▾
Effective against a wide variety of algae including:
- Chara
- Spirogyra
- Cladophora
- Vaucheria
- Ulothrix
- Microcystis
- Oscillatoria
Controls planktonic algae in 24–48 hours and filamentous algae in 3–4 days.
Application Rates & Instructions ▾
- Apply 0.6 – 1.2 gallons per acre-foot of water.
- General guideline: 1 gallon per 1.5 acre-feet.
- Dilute with a minimum of 9 parts water.
- Spray uniformly over the water surface using coarse droplets.
- Apply during calm, sunny mornings for best results.
- Allow at least 3 hours of contact time.
Begin treatments in spring when water temperatures reach 60°F and above. Early treatment reduces product use and minimizes dead organic buildup.
Treat heavy infestations in sections to prevent oxygen depletion. Allow 1–2 weeks between treatments if retreatment is needed.

Important Safety Information ▾
Important: Cutrine Plus Liquid may be toxic to trout if carbonate hardness is less than 50 ppm. Most surface waters exceed this limit. Test water hardness if unsure.
- Do NOT use in water containing Koi or hybrid Goldfish.
- Break apart heavy surface mats before application for better penetration.
- Retreat as algae regrowth begins to appear.

I was skeptical but I read the reviews before purchasing. I had a $500 Roomba previously that worked six months then died. Using the warranty on those is almost impossible. So I took a chance. Cons: will fling itself down ledges and stairs. Like any robot cleaner, hates cords and plastic bags. Gets stuck now and then. You need to rinse out dust filter each time. Pros: runs a LONG time. Picks up all the dust and hair my Roomba did. Much cheaper. Has an app that you can supposedly program. Not too noisy. Beeps if it needs help. Charges well. Cats dig it. All in all I would buy one again. Robot vacuums are not for grime, they are for dust, hair, bits of cat litter. Keep that in mind. But in keeping your floor free of cords and debris that might trip it up, it helps you to be tidier overall.

Seems like an excellent purchase so far!
So far so good! And we really appreciated the little hair cutting tool for the roller—nice touch. We've replaced one bag, one brush head, and one filter using this bargain kit so far, nothing much to complain about. It's not quite OEM quality but it's very likely going to work well enough. We expect to go through one kit like this per year.
Be aware that the rotating brush head replacement (the small round head ones, not the big rollers), have a little philips head screw that you have to remove. This was kind of hard to get off at first. We haven't used one of the replacement rollers yet, expect that we'll go through about two a year with our C10 at the current rate of wear.
