Get ready to add some Scandinavian flare to your home with these handmade hanging planters crafted by the dynamic duo, Steve and Katherine! Each one is uniquely made using reclaimed or locally sourced oak, and finished off with linseed oil and beeswax balm. Perfect for showing off your favorite trailing plants.
Available in 3 sizes and supplied with a 70cm length of natural cotton rope as shown in the photos. It has an eye fitting in the top for hanging and the base has a shallow rebate to locate the pot. It can be hung for example from a cup hook in the ceiling (not supplied), a curtain pole or an exposed beam. Note that we also sell a wall-mounted wall bracket (see separate listing here) designed to go with this item.
- Oak can vary in colour and grain patterns so please expect some variation from item to item although the pictures aim to show a typical example. The plants and pots shown are for display only and aren't included.
- Designed mainly for indoor use but can also be used outside.OUTDOOR USE
Although the planter is mainly intended for indoor use it can also be used outside - oak is very durable and the fixings are stainless steel so won't rust. We recommend hanging it in a sheltered location or bringing it in in very windy conditions. The oak will weather over time to a grey colour, which is normal. If you want to maintain the oak colour, apply linseed oil or similar from time to time.
