Philodendron is listed among plants recognized for their air-purifying qualities and, moreover, does not require special care. The 1989 NASA study identified philodendron as one of the best plants for removing formaldehyde and improving air quality.
Philodendron care instructions:
Placement: Philodendron prefers a bright area, sheltered from direct sunlight. However, it will also tolerate a darker spot. The foliage will become greener if placed in a shadier area.
