Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why are the edges of my Rattlesnake Plant's leaves turning brown?
Brown edges are often caused by low humidity or fluoride in tap water. Increase humidity and use distilled water for watering. -
Does the Calathea Rattlesnake require high humidity?
Yes, high humidity is essential for maintaining healthy, vibrant foliage. Consider misting or using a humidifier. -
Are coffee grounds good for Calatheas?
Yes, but in moderation! Calatheas prefer slightly acidic, well-draining soil. Mix used coffee grounds lightly into the soil or compost—just don’t overdo it, as excess acidity can cause root issues.
