This iconic tropical aroid is celebrated for its spectacular fenestrated leaves and vigorous climbing habit, making it the ultimate choice for collectors seeking classic houseplants with dramatic architectural presence and legendary status in indoor gardening.
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light with some direct morning sunlight. Provide adequate brightness to encourage fenestration development and support healthy growth.
- Temperature: Prefers warm conditions with temperatures between 20-26°C (68-79°F). Maintain consistent warmth and protect from cold drafts for optimal development.
- Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity levels of 60-75% with good air circulation to support healthy growth and prevent leaf browning.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but well-draining during growing season. Allow slight drying between waterings and maintain even moisture levels.
Additional Notes
Features large, heart-shaped leaves that develop characteristic splits and holes (fenestrations) as the plant matures. The glossy, deep green foliage can reach impressive sizes, creating a stunning tropical statement piece that transforms any indoor space into a lush jungle paradise.
