Frequently Asked Questions
Do the leaves really move?
Yes. The Green Prayer Plant responds to light changes by lifting or lowering its leaves, a process called nyctinasty.
Is it toxic to pets?
No. It's a non-toxic plant, safe for homes with cats and dogs.
How much light does it prefer?
Bright, indirect light is ideal. It can also tolerate low light, but avoid direct sunlight which may bleach the leaves.
How should I water it?
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. It likes moisture, but not soggy roots, so use well-draining soil and avoid letting water sit in the tray.
