There has been a lot of discussion in the plant world about identifying the ‘Tahiti’. Some say it is a marketing name applied to the Philodendron Mayoi. Some say the ‘Tahiti’ is a multi-hybrid of various plants, including the P. Mayoi, P. Radiatum, P. Lacerum, or the Thaumatophyllum Xanadu, which was formally known as P. Xanadu. Currently, the name is unregistered; therefore, it doesn’t have a scientific name.
