Anmerkungen: Die Klassifizierung von Anthurium dolichostachyum ist sehr schwierig. Zum einen hat Sodiro diese Art unter 6 verschiedenen Synonymen, zum Teil in demselben Jahr beschrieben. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Herbarbelege lassen die Vermutung zu, das es sich um mehrere Arten handeln kann. Dem steht das sich stark ändernde Aussehen mit zunehmenden Alter der Pflanze entgegen. Auch schient sich die Verbreitung über ein größeres Gebiet hinzuziehen, das es sich entweder um Standortvarianten, aber auch um eigenständige Arten handeln kann.
