CARE AND HANDLING

Care Guide – Anemones

Your anemones arrived closed… and that's a good sign! They come in a bud shape to protect their delicate petals during shipping. They only need a little fresh water to bloom and show off.

Follow these steps to help your anemones bloom beautifully and last longer:

1. Receive them with love.

As soon as your box arrives, carefully remove the flowers and remove any plastic or rubber bands. Anemones are delicate flowers, and their stems may have a natural curve.

2. Prepare them for hydration.

Fill a vase or bucket (depending on the quantity you ordered) with clean, fresh water. Cut the stems diagonally about 2–5 cm (1–2 inches) with sharp scissors. Remove any leaves that will be submerged in the water.

3. Hydration and care.

Let them hydrate for at least a few hours to fully bloom. To prolong their beauty, change the water and trim the stems every 2–3 days.

Product Details:

• Stem Height: 30–40 cm / 12–16 inches

• Bud Diameter: 7–8 cm / 3–3.5 inches

• Vase Life: Approx. 5 days with good care

• Availability: Year-round

Fun Fact: Anemones are phototropic: they lean toward the light during the day and close slightly at night. A flower with personality!

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!
