Drooping Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia monacantha)
A striking prickly pear with drooping pads that cascade gracefully, making it a bold choice for landscapes and collectors alike. Known for its glossy green pads and bright magenta fruit, this cactus thrives outdoors in warm zones and can be container-grown in cooler regions.
One healthy Drooping Prickly Pear cactus, grown in a 2" nursery pot. Each plant is well-established, carefully packed, and ready to thrive in your garden or container.
After Arrival
Carefully unpack your cactus and place it in a bright, sunny spot. Give it a few days to adjust before transplanting or watering heavily.
Transplant Tips
Use a fast-draining cactus soil with added pumice or coarse sand. Choose a pot with a drainage hole to prevent rot. Water lightly after transplanting, then allow the soil to dry out fully between waterings.
