Jefferson documented
Black cohosh, or snakeroot, has been grown in American gardens since the late 18th century. Thomas Lamboll sent three kinds of snakeroot to Philadelphia nurseryman and plant explorer William Bartram during the late 1700s, and one is believed to be this species. Thomas Jefferson included "Black snake-root" in a list of native medicinal plants in his only published book, Notes on the State of Virginia (1781). Black cohosh is a long-lived perennial that will slowly increase in size for many years and not require dividing. The lacy foliage forms an attractive mound in the flower border or woodland garden.
Black Cohosh; Snakeroot (Actaea racemosa) arrives in a 1 quart pot.

Beautiful Gold Finish, sturdy base.
Color: Warm Gold
Beautiful! Cleans up well and doesn’t retain water marks. Sturdy, stays in place…can tear with one hand without the need to hold the base. So glad I chose this one over others on the market. Nice solid finish…should last a long time.

Super Efficient & Pretty
Color: Warm Gold
It really is a perfect color of gold. It was super easy to use because each paper towel tears off easily. The bottom stays stable and doesn’t lean over when you tear off the sheet.

Classic and useful.
Color: Black
I purchased to gift my son for his apartment. It is both attractive and useful. The weighted base makes it functional and balanced, and all for a very minimal price.
