It can help to keep your moss pole moist by misting it or sticking your watering can into the moss pole so it trickles down. Since the moss is preserved, there is no upkeep needed for the moss pole itself other than keeping moist. It can be helpful to mist aerial root nodes along your plant as well to help encourage it to naturally attach to your moss pole!
