Nutritious Grazing Blend • Edible Greens & Flowers • Supports Natural Tortoise Diets & Enrichment

Tortoise Broadleaf & Flower Browsing Mix is a thoughtfully crafted blend of leafy greens, legumes, and edible flowers designed to mimic a more natural grazing environment for tortoises. This diverse planting encourages browsing behavior while providing a range of textures, flavors, and nutrients that support a balanced diet.

Perfect for outdoor enclosures, grazing pens, and habitat enrichment, this mix helps create a living food source that promotes both health and natural foraging instincts.

What’s in the Mix?

This blend includes a variety of tortoise-friendly plants selected for nutrition, palatability, and growth diversity:

  • Red Clover, Crimson Clover, White Clover, Sweet Clover – Protein-rich legumes that fix nitrogen and provide tender forage
  • Florida Broadleaf Mustard – Nutritious leafy green with mild spice
  • Calendula – Bright edible flowers with soft petals
  • Nasturtium – Peppery edible leaves and flowers loved by many reptiles
  • Chia – Nutritious greens and seeds that add variety
  • Wildflowers (mixed species) – Adds diversity, enrichment, and seasonal blooms

Together, these plants create a dynamic grazing area that evolves over time and supports natural feeding habits.

Designed for Natural Grazing

This mix encourages tortoises to browse as they would in the wild.

Benefits include:

  • Promotes natural foraging behavior
  • Provides a variety of textures and flavors
  • Encourages movement and enrichment
  • Reduces reliance on processed foods
  • Supports a more natural feeding routine

A living forage area can help improve both physical and behavioral health in captive tortoises.

Nutritional Diversity

Offering a range of plant types helps provide more balanced nutrition.

Nutritional benefits include:

  • Leafy greens for daily grazing
  • Legumes for added plant-based protein
  • Flowers for enrichment and variety
  • Diverse plant compounds for a more complete diet

Variety is key in replicating natural diets and avoiding over-reliance on a single food source.

Easy to Grow in Outdoor Enclosures

This seed mix is designed to establish quickly and provide ongoing forage.

Growing guidelines:

  • Planting: Broadcast sow directly into prepared soil
  • Sun: Full sun to partial shade
  • Soil: Well-drained soil with moderate fertility
  • Water: Keep soil moist during establishment
  • Maintenance: Allow plants to regrow between grazing periods

For best results, rotate grazing areas or allow sections to recover to maintain continuous growth.

Ideal For

  • Tortoise enclosures and outdoor pens
  • Reptile habitat enrichment
  • Natural grazing systems
  • Backyard tortoise keepers
  • Sustainable animal feeding setups

This mix is especially useful for species that benefit from high-fiber, plant-based diets.

A Living Food Source for Healthy Tortoises

Tortoise Broadleaf & Flower Browsing Mix transforms enclosures into living ecosystems filled with edible plants and natural enrichment. With a diverse combination of greens, legumes, and flowers, it supports healthier feeding habits while encouraging instinctive grazing behavior.

Plant it, let it grow, and watch your tortoises explore, browse, and thrive in a more natural and engaging environment. 🌿🐢🌼

Durable, Fun, Useful!
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
This treat dispenser is so great! For one thing, it's sturdy and will last forever. It will get lost before it wears out. This is my second order because I can't find the first one . . . so I bought this pack of two. In one, I put peanut butter. In the second one, I put toothpaste, just a squirt for each opening. My dog LOVES to chew on this even after she has consumed 98% of whatever I put in there. In short, it occupies her attention, which is a blessing! It's both a treat and a toy. It also bounces well and can be thrown as a ball. It will LAST far longer than any ofher other balls, too. My dog has a tiny mouth and larger balls are too big or too hard for her. If I could give it more stars, I would!

DURABLE
Size: 2.8in for Small & Medium Dogs
My dog loves these balls almost as much as she loves tennis balls, which she tears up within a day. These two balls have lasted over a week with no signs of wear. I was unsure when I ordered them but they do bounce, not quite like a tennis ball but enough to keep my dog's attention. When using toothpaste in these balls I had to put it deep into the openings or she just licks it off of the surface and when its that deep, it doesn't squeeze out like I think it should. It just stays in the crevasses and gets old and hard. As a ball it's great, as a toothpaste delivery system it's not so great.

Perfect For Sophia!
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs, Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
These little balls are the perfect size for Sophia who is a 7 lb Yorkie with a teeny tiny mouth. The slots in the balls make them very easy for her little teeth to grab hold of and carry. The quality of the rubber is excellent, strong and durable. They're holding up great so far! She loves them and so does her Mama! 5 stars!

Horrible, don't buy
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
I wanted to love these. They had so much potential. It's a good size. It seems like a good shape. But ... 1) first red flag should have been the packaging. It looked like it was a dollar store item that had beenblost on the shelves for years. 2) the rubber is super flexible. I was expecting it to be sturdier. I can flatten the ball without lich force. Maybe that doesn't matter. Naybe flexible is good. But I never got a chance to test out it's durability against a pup because... 3) it smelled. I expected it to smell like rubber, like most rubber toys. Rubber smell is okay. Usually rubber smell goes away. But, this was NOT a rubber smell. It smells like peppermint or something similar. It's like someone sprayed essential oils when mixing the rubber and now the smell will not leave. I soaked it in dawn soap half the day and overnight. I rubbed. I scrubbed. The smell actually gets worst the more you scrub it!!! It's like a scented marker or scented eraser, but you do NOT want the scent in a dog toy! My dog cannot smell the food in it because the smell of the weird mint-like scent is so overpowering. He saw it had food, and wanted it, but every time he started sniffing wildly, he would recoil. Whoever thought it was a good idea to scent this was WRONG. Mint in the form of an essential oil is extremely poisonous to dogs!! So, why they would put a mint-loke scent ijto the dog's rubber treat toy is beyond me. I would return this if I hadn't throw out the package immediately. I considered pulling the package out of the trash once i realized the scent issue but other trash had already been dumped into the trash can over it and i didn't want to dig through trash. The ball is still soaking in soap. I scrubbed again this morning. I let obe dry out. No luck. It actually seems to get worst the more you scrub, like it really is embedded in the rubber itself. Yuck!!!
