The High Spirits Crow Flute in the key of "A" minor is crafted from ebonized domestic walnut, a hardwood. It's inlaid with turquoise cabochons, which add to the natural beauty of the flute and enhance the functional art quality of the instrument. The flute is sealed with non-toxic oils which give it a clear, bright voice.
Ebonizing is a process used in the early 1900s. Even though the ebony wood was already rare and costly, ebony furniture was popular at that time. To compensate for that, wood workers developed a dyeing process called ebonizing. Unlike a stain, the dyeing process penetrates the wood fiber deeply. Walnut is ideal for this process because it has a dark brown grain that streaks through the black dye giving it a similar look to ebony. We have found that this process slightly enhances the sound quality of the wood.
This Crow Flute is a good accompaniment flute for the Contra Bass "A flute and the Pocket Flute in the key of "A".
The flute is keyed in the key of "A" minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C".
It is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute.
This flute is 19 inches (48 cm) long.

Expensive but the best

So expensive for this ink. I must admit however it’s also the best out there. If they took away all of the advertisement on the package and just shipped simple it might be less expensive to the consumers. I don’t need all the jazz. Just the performance is all I am interested in.

It's Expensive

I bought the Epson printer that this ink goes with because it (the printer) was highly rated. Once I got it, I don't agree with the rating but that is for another review.
The ink is perfectly fine and expensive which all ink cartridges are. One just pays what one has to.

Nice paper with wonderful print quality

I really like this paper. We print and sell art prints/photography/posters and prefer a matte appearance and this paper works perfectly. It is very white with wonderful color retention and no bleed on the inks that i can see. We use several hundred sheets of this a month in 8 X 10, 11 X 14, A3 size and even have the same Epson paper on rolls for our large format printer.
The paper is thick, but not overly so and it's easy to roll to go into a tube to ship, but thick enough to feel substantial. I recommend this for any photographer or digital artist who wants a nice Matte art print, and the price is decent as well

Perfect for making calendars!

I have used Epson matte papers for printing my images for years (on my Epson R3000), and this configuration was perfect for making my first batch of calendars -- to be given as Christmas presents. I used some of my best images, and the finished product was really something I was proud to gift. At 9 mils thickness, the stock is substantial yet pliable, and when stacked 12 deep makes a great calendar. Image rendition, clarity, color and brightness is superb. I highly recommend this product.

Wonderful Quality!

I chose this paper for my graphic design portfolio and I wasn't too disappointed. The instructions say you have to wait approx. 15 minutes for the ink to dry so it will not smudge, but in a hurry, I didn't have to worry about it anyways. Only negative I have so far is that you cannot print double sided on this paper. Still, this epson paper is inexpensive and creates wonderful prints if you know how to use the Print Settings correctly.
