Studio Postcard
A velvet heart in miniature. This compact Clarinervium carries chalk-bright veinwork across deep, plush foliage—scaled perfectly for shelves, desks, and slim consoles.
Profile & Scale
- Botanical: Anthurium clarinervium
- Stature: compact rosette; leaves on short, sturdy petioles
- Texture: velvety matte surface with crisp, porcelain linework
- Current height: ~15–30 cm (6–12 in), broadening with steady care
- Pet note: keep out of nibbling reach
Light Map
Prefers softened brightness—north light, bright shade, or morning rays behind a sheer. Screen harsh midday beams to protect the velvet nap and keep vein contrast clean.
Water Rhythm
Hydrate when the upper layer of mix feels dry to the touch; pour through and let excess fully drain. Avoid lingering water in saucers or cachepots.
Root Zone & Medium
Use an open, oxygen-rich blend (orchid bark + pumice/perlite + coco chips with a light sphagnum accent). A slightly snug container supports a tidy, upright posture.
Climate & Air
Comfort band 20–27 °C (68–81 °F) with room-level moisture (~55–70% RH). Gentle airflow helps blades cure firm and edges stay tidy.
Nutrition & Upkeep
Feed a balanced formula at ¼–½ strength during active months; taper as growth eases. Rotate the pot every couple of weeks and dust leaves lightly so the linework stays luminous.
Set-In Notes
Begin in cushioned light and step brightness up over 10–14 days. New flushes usually show the sharpest velvet and most defined vein pattern.
