Installation & Security
The internal octagonal bracket design allows the basket to clamp securely around 6" diameter lampposts. Large set screws are tightened with a wrench, creating a firm connection that resists tampering, theft, and vandalism—critical for unattended public installations. Unlike traditional hanging baskets that can be easily removed or damaged, this clamped system provides peace of mind in high-traffic areas.
Why Choose Lamppost Hayracks?
The 12" depth supports healthy plants and robust root systems, creating the professional displays that elevate streetscapes and public spaces. The generous capacity reduces watering frequency compared to shallow baskets, lowering maintenance costs for large-scale installations. The rust-resistant black finish maintains its appearance season after season, protecting your investment in beautification projects.
Size Options
This 25" basket is ideal for standard 6" lampposts commonly found in municipal and commercial settings. For larger 8" posts or more dramatic displays, consider the 30" Lamppost Hayrack Basket, which offers the same vandal-resistant design with greater capacity.
Liner Information
Natural coco-fiber liners are preformed with latex binding to fit the 25" basket perfectly. The fibrous material retains moisture while allowing proper drainage, creating optimal growing conditions. Liners are sold in sets of 2 to accommodate both sides of the lamppost basket.
