Philodendron verrucosum is a widely distributed species that can be found in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru. It is one of the most popular Philodendron, and has absolutely stunning emerald green venation. This is the Peruvian standard form. It grows quite large, even in a vivarium, so give it some space to grow. It is a moderately fast grower once established. It adheres very well to driftwood and backgrounds like most other Philodendron. It does well in moderate, indirect light and moderate to high humidity, and appreciates airflow. Moist sphagnum moss is helpful for rooting this species.

All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment.
