Care Guide

Place in a bright spot with indirect light — near a window with a sheer curtain is ideal. Peace Lilies are one of the most adaptable houseplants and can tolerate lower light conditions, though they bloom best with bright indirect light. Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry, ensuring the pot drains fully each time. Avoid overwatering as soggy soil can cause root rot. Maintain moderate to high humidity and mist the leaves occasionally for best results. If the leaves droop slightly, it is a sign the plant needs water — it recovers quickly after watering. Keep away from air conditioning vents and cold drafts.

They always enjoy pulling it out and now I can refer back to the characters to remind them of their manners in a more positive way. The only thing is I kinda wish they had used a different animal than pig, since for some reason I don't like saying "don't be like the pigs" (since I don't really want them calling eachother or other kids pigs). But so far it has been fine :) It's also very nice they included "Be kind to animals, they have feelings too." We say that all the time around here since we have kitties. Also the part about table manners is great since we had already been teaching the kids to ask before being excused from the table.
