Botanically named the Calathea Concinna Freddie, these popular indoor plants enjoy medium to bright indirect light and high humidity levels. We recommend allowing your Freddie Calathea to dry out in between waterings but do not allow for extended periods of drought. To omit root drought or root rot, water the plant when the top inch of the soil has dried.

These plants gain a bad rep for being high maintenance, however, as long as you provide your Calathea plant with the proper conditions, it should grow just fine. Some additional plant care tips for this fun and trending houseplant include planting in a pot with drainage holes and using a well draining potting soil. Additionally, your plant would benefit from the application of a well balanced fertilizer in spring and summer.

As a member of the Prayer Plant family, your plant's foliage with open and close with the sun. Common signs of distress in these eye-catching plants include yellow leaves and browning edges. If your plant is exhibiting these signs, it's time to reevaluate your plant's placement and care regimen.

This book would be helpful to office managers who are overseeing small self-managed projects. There is heavy emphasis on people management and almost none on any practical project management techniques. It gave me flashbacks of a couple of project managers I've worked with who were completely useless and left the team to pick up their slack; the kind that talk endlessly without saying anything meaningful and struggle with the basics, like scheduling a meeting. I am a YouTube follower of the authors book, and I purchased her book to take advantage of her real life experiences of flipping over 30 + houses. Because I had already purchased my first house I focused on Part 2 to help me organize my renovation, and revaluate my approach. The book is well written, reading flows, the notes, graphics that call out important details are well place, the models to follow are super useful and the resources are endless. There is an online digital resource that is extremely helpful too. There is so much in this book. I will come back and update as I get through it, but I can say this is an excellent purchase already well worth the money spent. I watch her YouTube channel, and review the online resources regularly, and carry this book with me as I am doing the work as I work, so taking all my spare time to study and review. Part 2 is where I am focus now since I am starting my renovation. I am doing a "cosmetic" renovation, and her advice about where to focus my budget has helped me decide where to start, what to buy (study comps online - I personally like Redfin, but Zillow too) and I already have a realtor I am working with, and was recommended a contractor by my agent. So - off to the races. It is a downturn market so I am taking my first flip slow, but in a few months I will update my review. I highly recommend buying the book, it is like an idiots guide to house flipping, but better....you have her YouTube channel, and the online resources too! Enjoy!!
