Calendula officinalis Neon | Pot Marigold
A charming, pastel-toned calendula with old-fashioned appeal. ‘Neon’ produces ultra double flowers with densely set deep orange petals edged in burgundy. With tall, branching stems and a strong, uniform habit, this variety stands out from dwarf calendulas and makes a stunning addition to borders, cutting gardens, and cottage-style plantings.
Perfect as a cut flower, its sturdy stems and rich blooms complement lavender, baby blue nigella, and airy larkspur. Beyond beauty, calendula petals are edible—fresh or dried, they bring a tangy flavor and a splash of color to salads, soups, rice dishes, and baked goods. Calendula flowers are also prized for their medicinal properties, often used in tinctures and skin-healing ointments.
