At Dutchess Farm, a single pepper plant popped up in the middle of a row of Golden Ghost peppers that looked a little… different. The color was the same, but the size and shape were different, clearly something unusual growing among the ghosts. Nobody had planted it on purpose.

Of course we had to make hot sauce with it!

The Mystery Pepper turned out to taste a lot like a Golden Ghost, with that familiar flowery ghost pepper heat, but with an extra layer of juicy sweetness that makes the flavor pop.

So we turned it into a single varietal hot sauce to let that surprise pepper shine on its own.

It’s bright, fruity, and seriously hot, with just enough sweetness to keep you coming back for another bite. Perfect anywhere you want bold heat and real pepper flavor. Particularly with soup, shrimp and turkey sandwiches.
