Being that it's from a tropical environment, the Macrorrhiza thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, slightly dry soil, and medium to indirect bright light. The leaves are incredibly large, reaching 10 - 12 feet tall and 4 - 6 feet wide. The huge Macrorrhiza comes in a 17” planter. The “huge” normally only refers to the planter, but it is not a misnomer in this case - this plant is ENORMOUS! This makes them great as statement plants in a brightly lit lobby, foyer, living room or other big space.
