Always keep your Pilea  away from heating vents and out of drafts.
Pilea plants grow best in warm daytime temperatures of 75°-80° with 10 degrees cooler at night.
Pileas need about 50% humidity in order to thrive, so they should be kept on a tray filled with moistened pebbles or misted regularly

Keep the soil slightly moist while your Pilea is actively growing,
but allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings when growth slows in the winter.
Feed monthly in the spring and summer using a half-strength solution
of a liquid house plant type

Pros: - This frame uses real glass, which feels more premium than the usual plastic in the price range - The mat was cut nicely - I got the pine variant. Pine can look coarse, but for the two frames I purchased, the wood was oriented so that the fine grain faces forward, so it looked more refined. Cons: - Mat is a little thin - I might be missing it, but it looks like dimensions for the mat cutout are not provided in the product description. In case you are wondering what the dimensions are, I measured my mat opening to be 8.4" x 11.5" (I got the 12x16 matted to 9x12). Note that the mat is an off-white color, almost an ivory white.
