You asked, we answered! The Westcott planter was designed by the team here at The Sill in response to customer requests. This ceramic planter features a modern, rounded silhouette (similar to our beloved Grant planter), and features a drainage hole and matching saucer.

The Sill's planters are all named after things closely related to the plant world. The Westcott is named in honor of Dr. Cynthia Westcott (1903–1983), an American plant pathologist, author, and horticulturist known for her work diagnosing and developing treatment for diseases in ornamental plants, a skill that earned her the nickname the "Plant Doctor." Like a medical doctor, Dr. Westcott, who earned her PhD at Cornell University in 1932, made house calls around New Jersey and New York, helping her clients manage pest and disease issues in their gardens. Great for Sublimation!
I’m a bit new to sublimation and was worried about having dull colors, but this ink is doing wonders! The quality is great, I can adjust the amount on the printer and get the exact, rich, vibrant colors I want. (I found some recommended settings for brightness, contrast, etc… and then tweak the cyan, magenta, and yellow to the desired amount.) I definitely recommend getting this ink! It’s so easy to refill the printer (I have an Eco tank 15000). The cost is not bad at all. I’ve only washed some of the items one time and so far the ink has remained unchanged. Seems like a winner to me!
