POLY ADVANTAGE
At Leisure Lawns, they manufacture their furniture out of plastic lumber from Raw Material recycled high-density polyethylene. Our poly is a combination of post industrial, post consumer regrind and wide-spec which would normally be disposed of in our landfills.
If you are looking for a maintenance-free furniture, Leisure Lawns outdoor poly furniture is the right choice! Unlike most outdoor furniture, their poly furniture will not rot, rust or fall apart from wear. It is easy to care for, does not require painting and is built to endure harsh weather. Because our poly imitates natural wood grain, the texture of the poly hides scratches and will maintain its beauty for many years. Leisure Lawns seventeen colorful options are infused with color and UV stabilizer to reduce fading, keeping your furniture beautiful for many years.
The benefits of using Poly:
- Extremely Durable
- Maintenance-Free – Never needs to be treated or painted
- No splinters, splitting or cracking – always smooth to the touch
- Does not absorb moisture
ABOUT LEISURE LAWNS
Leisure Lawns Collection was built on the heritage and tradition of quality Amish craftsmanship. In 1987, a young Amish farmer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, started building wooden lawn furniture as a way to supplement his income. As he began offering them for sale at local farmers markets and shops, the customer interest grew. He began expanding his product line to include more wooden lawn furniture. Years later, the introduction of maintenance-free poly brought more changes to the Leisure Lawns Collection. Many of the wooden styles were adapted to poly, making the furniture more durable and colorful. Leisure Lawns has now been producing poly furniture for fourteen years and continues to introduce new designs and continues to improve on their other designs. Eventually, Leisure Lawns outgrew its space on the farm and moved to a larger facility in New Holland, PA. We now operate in a 9,000 square foot manufacturing facility with a 16,000 square foot warehouse. This increased warehouse space allows us to keep more inventory on hand, helping to ship products in a timely manner. After 30 years in business, Leisure Lawns Collections is still run by a family member of the Amish farmer who started the business. Leisure Lawns is continuously improving its products and adding new ones and is now shipping furniture all over the United States and Canada. At Leisure Lawns, we still place the highest value on hard work, superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
