Description & Care:

The Philodendron "Neon' is an epiphyte houseplant that grows in a vine-like, trailing, or climbing fashion.  An epiphyte is an organism that lives on the exterior of another plant.  The philodendron obtains its water and nutrients from the atmosphere and droppings piled nearby.  It has heart-shaped leaves and is a great addition to any home or office, requiring minimal watering and needing low to medium indirect sunlight.  If you see bleached spots or leaves turning brown, they could be overexposure to the sun on your leaves.

Light: Medium to bright indirect light

Water: Avoid overwatering by allowing the top inch or two of soil to dry between waterings.

Temperature: 65-80F

Humidity: Medium

Feeding: Fertilize monthly during active growth which typically occurs during the spring and summer

Propagation:  Stem cuttings below the node

Common Pests: Look out for spider mites, mealy bugs and thrips

Great for toy destroyers!
Color: blue
Got a destructive dog? These are the best toys ever! Our girl gets at least a week or sometimes 2 out of each toy. She can destroy a typical dog toy in under 30 min. She loves these!! BIG PLUS.... no fluff to clean up!!!!

Plastic stuffing in it
Color: blue
I was concerned when I started finding little pieces of plastic wrap around my house. Where did it come from, I wondered? When my puppy is shark “no stuffing” toy to me, I found the source! The fin he ripped off that crinkled was full of little plastic pieces of plastic wrap. And it was all over the houses.
