Senecio herreanus 'String of Tears' Highlights:
- 'String of Tears' grows to form tear shaped leaves on a thin, trailing stem that can reach several feet in length.
- Can be grown as a houseplant or an outdoor ornamental.
- Easily propagated from stem cuttings.
- Produces white, daisy-shaped flowers that typically bloom in the summer.
- Hardy to Zone 10 (30°-35° F). 'String of Tears' will not survive a hard frost. However, succulents can easily be grown indoors under grow lights or in a sunny window if there is a risk of temperatures dropping below 35° F.
'String of Tears' Care: As with all succulents, it is best to follow a "soak and dry" schedule where you water your plants deeply (until water runs out the bottom drain holes), and then allow your soil to dry completely before watering again. 'String of Pearls' needs to be watered a bit more frequently than your typical succulent due to its thin stems. Succulents should always be planted in well-draining cactus and succulent soil and in a pot or container that has drain holes. 'String of Tears' grows best in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

This package had more than the pkg that was supposed to have 4000, but they are coming up slowly. It is dry here, I have been watering , just enough to get the ground wet and they are scattered, but some are coming up. I also watered the space supposedly where i spread seeds from the supposedly 4000 seeds pkg. They are not coming up as much!

3 days and already sprouting

Beautiful and vibrant blooms

This is the first time we planted Zinnias in our garden. Seemed so easy and worry free. It took 2.5 months from the time we planted the seeds to seeing the first blooms. It's now been about 3 months and the plants are in full bloom. The flowers came out in many vibrant colors! The seed packets contained a nice surprise since you don't know exactly what colors the flowers will be. Looks like it will continue blooming for a few more months with a little caring, like constant watering and deadheading. We definitely plan to capture the seeds so we can enjoy the flowers again.
