    The Copenhagen Story

The Castle Pot - The Københavner Pot has royal heritage and is one of the first pots designed by Bergs Potter. This noble pot is inspired by pottery made for the Royal Danish Palace of Fredensborg in 1860.

Years ago, Steffen Berg stumbled upon beautiful old clay pots at a former nursery and created the Københavner Pot, his very own interpretation of the pottery with royal origins. Today, the Københavner Pot is one of our most popular designs, and our potters still make it by hand in small family-owned workshops, keeping the old traditions alive. The legacy of the Københavner Pot adds an element of regal elegance even when paired with the humblest plant.

The Københavner Pot range includes numerous sizes in Rosa and Nordic Grey terracotta, including a tall Rose pots designed to accommodate the rose plant’s deep roots and need for growing space. It is also available in a roomy low pot, which is great for experimenting with succulents, herbs, and bulbs in creative displays.

    More on Bergs Potter

The raw clay pots by Bergs Potter are made of premium Italian clay, fired at extremely high temperatures — and nothing else. No chemicals — just the pure beauty of nature. Each of the raw terracotta pots is inherently natural, ages gracefully, and develops a beautiful patina over time. The saucers are given a special finish that makes them waterproof and prevents mould from developing. Whether they are used as a centrepiece for the dining table, to grace the window sill, or to house a large plant on your wooden floors, the beautiful pots will help add a touch of nature to every corner of the home.

Made to live for generations - Bergs Originals are Bergs Potter’s popular, raw terracotta pots in timeless designs, all made to last for generations. Our roots run deep, and it all began during one of the bleakest periods of World War II. Our founder, Victor Berg, inherited a ceramics shop in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen and built Bergs Potter to fulfil his dream of bringing a little more life and colour into the war-depressed lives of his fellow Copenhageners. A lot has happened since 1942, but one thing remains the same…Plants make people thrive.

Breathing pots - Bergs Potter’s terracotta pots are made with Italy’s finest clay. The minerals in the clay and its high density give the pots the perfect balance of strength and porosity, allowing the pots to breathe and making them naturally resistant to frost. When a pot is watered, it changes colour, which means it breathes. When the pot breathes, it can supply moisture and air to the roots, giving the plant the best possible conditions for growth. Terracotta is a porous material, and the evaporation of water through its pores helps maintain moisture levels and airflow, while the clay’s insulating properties help regulate root temperature.

High Quality Lenses & High Fashion Design from QUAY
Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters, Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters
These QUAY sunglasses are truly high quality for a price you can’t beat. The Polycarbonate is inlaid with a metal frame to ensure a proper fit, and durability. The lenses have a clarity level that breaks up light waves centered to the retina preventing migraines for me during long durations of use. I can tell the light waves are evenly distributed because cheap sunglasses give me a headache due to my astigmatism. As far as looks go, these have a beautiful tortoise shell design with dark hues of brown, and tan. The gloss finish is one of my favorite things about these sunglasses, allowing me to match it with my hat, shirt and jewelry. I’m very impressed with the quality of these glasses and even after 3+ months of use, the lenses are unscathed (see photos). Each lens is high quality and has taken impacts, and hasn’t scratched much but I also make sure I keep them in the soft case that is also included with these sunglasses. Other notable items are the soft case, owners manual, and microfiber cloth. They include everything I needed and wanted to make sure my sunglasses last, and stay in good condition. Great job QUAY!!!!

    Comfortable QUAY quality sunglasses
Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters
QUAY is one of my favorite sunglass brands and these sunglasses definitely don't disappoint! They're very comfortable and fit well on my face. They're lightweight which I love but also have the quality I have come to expect from QUAY. The only thing that would make me like them more is if the lenses were a little darker.. I prefer darker lenses as I have very light sensitive eyes.

Thick, robust and the perfect blend of dressy/casual
Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters, Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters
To be honest this is my first pair of sunglasses that costs more than $25. I never really knew why one would spend more on something you might sit on or lose. Decided to try these after realizing I wanted better clarity in the lenses. First impression on trying them on was the weight difference. These are quite a bit heavier than my cheaper pairs. Once I examined the materials I could see why. The build quality is excellent. The tortoise pattern is rich and looks high quality. Love the polished metal accents. At first I was a little leary about the metal on the front edges (i'm not a very "shiny" guy") but now I think it helps strike a balance between dressier glasses and casual. Very glad I stuck with these through the first few awkward moments. Wasn't sure about the shape at first but now i'm locked in. Curious to see what else Quay has to offer!

Stylish looks, good lenses, warped frame?
Color: Dark Tort/Green, Polarization Type: Non-Polarized, Lens Width: 50 Millimeters
These sunglasses have nice build quality and good lenses on them. The green tint is not too strong and the style is excellent. My frames sit crooked on my face out of the box and they do not lay evenly on the counter when laying them down on the top surface. you can tap on one of the arms and the frames wobble. Looking at the main piece where the lenses are, the whole thing appears to be slightly twisted., which would explain the crooked fit on my face. Granted, our faces and ears aren't usually perfectly symmetrical, but this seems to be a fault of the sunglasses. I have tried lightly bending and twisting the frames to straighten them out, but I have not been entirely successful in doing so in fear of breaking them. They are comfortable to wear and look pretty stylish, but some information on adjusting the frames would be nice.
