Philodendron Florida Ghost: A Collector’s Dream Plant
The Philodendron Florida Ghost is a rare tropical plant known for its ghostly white new leaves, which gradually turn light green as they mature. This unique coloration and its vining nature make it a sought-after plant for collectors.
Why the Philodendron Florida Ghost is a Must-Have
- Ethereal White Leaves: The new leaves emerge pure white before turning green.
- Fast-Growing & Climbing: Loves to climb when given a moss pole or support.
- Low Maintenance: Easy to care for and forgiving for plant owners.
Caring for Your Florida Ghost
- Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain its stunning white foliage.
- Watering: Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent overwatering.
- Humidity & Temperature: Prefers high humidity levels (above 60%) and warm temperatures.
Pest & Disease Management
- Pests to Watch For: Spider mites, mealybugs, and scale insects.
- Disease Prevention: Ensure good airflow around the plant to prevent fungal infections.
Soil & Potting Mix Needs
