Alocasia Bulb Hilo Beauty | Caladium praetermissum
Who says you need big, boisterous blooms to capture attention and create a stunning landscape? Not us! While Alocasia Hilo Beauty (technically a Caladium, but widely referred to as an Alocasia or Colocasia) does produce flowers, they're inconspicuous and dimmed by the large, striking foliage. The green, heart-shaped leaves are embellished with an abundance of irregularly shaped chartreuse spots and bluish-black stems.
A top choice for containers where the unique accents can be closely admired, it's no wonder Hilo Beauty has become extremely popular in recent years. This plant appreciates ample moisture with dappled shade, and as long as you don't allow for any standing water, they're effortless to maintain. Enjoy!
