From late spring into fall, and often far beyond in mild climates, it produces hundreds of bright cerise, rose-like flowers that bounce above attractive blue-green succulent foliage.

Also known as rock purslane, this deer-resistant succulent forms a dense, spreading groundcover about 15" tall and up to 4' wide, making it fabulous for slopes, dry borders, retaining walls, rock gardens, large containers, and water-wise landscapes. The vivid flowers look gorgeous against gravel, silver foliage, grasses, agaves, aeoniums, and other drought tolerant plants.

Plant Calandrinia spectabilis in full sun with sharply drained soil.
