Cyrtostachys renda is a slender multi-stemmed, slow-growing, clustering palm tree. Palms do best with bright light like from a south- or west-facing window and may last longer with some direct sunlight. But do not give too much direct sunlight; the leaves will turn yellowish-green in direct sunlight. A peat-based mix with lots of material for drainage is perfect.

It says no white cast but there definitely is a white residue left behind. I have tried it in different occasions and ever time my face is left with a white hue and it does not absorb properly; had to wash my face with soap and use a different sunscreen for the day
