The summer infant car seat cover is made with a certified UPF 50 fabric, providing a reliable barrier against UV rays during strolls and trips on sunny days. The main panel (excluding the mosquito net) blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays and is ideal for babies' delicate skin. Its integrated mosquito net also keeps insects out (even tiny no-see-ums) without blocking the view.
Its water-resistant fabric repels light rain while maintaining good airflow around baby, preventing any discomfort from heat buildup under the cover.
Smart design: the bounce-back structure
Unlike standard soft car seat covers that collapse onto baby's face, Petit Coulou's semi-rigid bounce-back structure keeps the cover in place and creates a protected space around baby's head and body. The thin, flexible plastic rods absorb light impacts and spring back into shape.
Compatibility: Compatible with most rear-facing infant car seats (up to 35 lb / 16 kg), except models whose sun canopy does not lift at the back. Not compatible with convertible car seats. For more details, consult our FAQ page.
