  Pothos varieties originate from tropical regions of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. While ‘Manjula’ is a cultivated variety developed for its distinctive variegation, it shares the same tropical heritage as other Epipremnum aureum plants that naturally grow as climbing vines in warm, humid forests.
  
  Like most pothos plants, ‘Mutant Manjula’ rarely flowers when grown indoors. In its natural habitat, mature plants can produce small flowers typical of the aroid family, consisting of a spadix surrounded by a spathe.
