Our shrimp, snails, and baby fish find refuge and food sources growing on these pods, providing lots of supplemental nutrition. They impart a healthy level of tannins to the water, and it takes a couple of days for them to become waterlogged and sink to the bottom. This bag and its contents are biodegradable!
