A quick note:
As with all variegated plants, Monstera borsigiana Albo is a little more delicate. Leaves with large white patches are more prone to browning—keep conditions stable for the happiest growth. Minor cosmetic blemishes are normal and don’t affect plant health. Future variegation is not possible to predict.
The ever-iconic Monstera borsigiana Albo is a statement piece for every collector and plant lover chasing those bright, bold variegation dreams. With its marbled white and emerald green leaves, this fast-growing climber has all the personality of a Monstera deliciosa—just in a tidier, more compact form.
This cultivar features elegantly heart-shaped leaves and creamy splashes that can range from soft speckling to full-on sectoral patterns. Trained up a moss pole or stake, it brings a burst of tropical luxe to any space.
| Position | Bright, indirect light. The variegated sections lack chlorophyll, so sufficient light is crucial for healthy growth. However, avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the white areas. |
| Temperature | Temperatures above 20 degrees will speed up growth. Keep temperature above 10 degrees. |
| Water | Water well but allow to almost dry out completely between waterings. |
| Fertiliser | Fertilise during warmer months to encourage growth. |
| Repotting | Only when well established in pot or mid-spring. |
| Pet Friendly | Monstera are Not Pet Friendly |
