This Pineapple Heirloom Tomato has been been adapted to hydroponic growing conditions and received the proper pH and nutrients from seed to harvest. This seed will grow great in soil, but is especially suited to grow in a hydroponic, aeroponic, or aquaponic system like the Tower Garden or the Farm Stand.
According to research out of New Zealand, orange tomatoes are especially a healthy option because they are higher in an antioxidant called tetra-cis-lycopene. According to lab results, when they tested the Pineapple Tomato variety it scored 6.13.
