Semponium 'Destiny' is a striking indoor succulent known for its rosettes of thick, elongated leaves displaying deep hues of purple, bronze, and dark green. It offers a graphic and sophisticated presence, ideal for creating a focal point in any bright space.
Origin: Semponium 'Destiny' is an intergeneric hybrid between Aeonium and Sempervivum, developed in the UK for its unique decorative qualities and vigor.
Growth: Semponium 'Destiny' grows moderately. It forms dense rosettes 15 to 30 cm in diameter, which may rise slightly over time and produce offsets at the base.
Flowers: Can produce a large flower spike with star-shaped flowers, usually yellow. As with Aeonium, the main rosette dies after flowering (monocarpic plant).
Light: Prefers direct light or very intense artificial light. Strong exposure promotes the dark and contrasting hues of its foliage.
Watering: Requires moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent excessive moisture and rot.
Substrate: Use a well-draining succulent potting mix. A mixture of succulent potting mix and perlite is recommended for good root aeration.
Toxicity: Semponium 'Destiny' is non-toxic, making it safe for pets and children.
