Mandevilla laxa, commonly known as Chilean Jasmine or Chilean Dipladenia, is a beautiful and vigorous climbing vine native to South America, particularly Chile. This evergreen plant is cherished for its lush foliage and enchanting, fragrant blossoms. It produces glossy, deep green leaves that provide an attractive backdrop to the profusion of sweetly scented, tubular flowers. The flowers come in shades of white, cream, or pale pink, often with a yellow throat, and they bloom prolifically from late spring through summer, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. Mandevilla laxa is a popular choice for trellises, fences, and pergolas, where its twining habit creates a lush and vibrant display. It thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and requires ample sunlight to produce its abundant flowers. Its captivating presence and sweet fragrance make it a sought-after addition to gardens and landscapes, especially in warmer regions where it can flourish year-round. Zones 8-11

Germination

Germinating Mandevilla laxa seeds involves several key steps. Prepare the seeds for germination by scarifying them gently. You can do this by nicking the seed coat with a small file or sandpaper, which helps water penetrate and speed up germination. After scarification, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours to further soften the seed coat. Next, plant the seeds in a well-draining potting mix or a seed-starting mix, burying them about 1/4 inch (6 millimeters) deep. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Place the planting container in a warm and bright location with indirect sunlight. Germination typically occurs within a few weeks to a couple of months. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, they can be transplanted into individual pots or directly into the garden, ensuring they receive full sunlight and well-drained soil to continue their growth into lush, flowering vines.

Not bad for an inexpensive ice cream maker
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
For something this cheap, it’s definitely not that bad. The directions are easy to follow but I went and put the ice cream in the freezer for at least 30 mins more to cool the ice cream to the perfect consistency and it turned out great! After I made vanilla ice cream from the recipe in the book, I started concocting my own recipes and everything has turned out yummy!

Better than my $100 coffee maker!
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Bought this to replace a very expensive coffee maker that broke after a year and a half. Works excellent! Freed up so much counter space. Saw complaints about the hot plate peeling so I always make sure the bottom of the coffee pot is dry and have had no issues. No leakage as long as the basket is in correctly. Love this simple yet very functional coffee maker.

Good buy
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
I have used another brand for more than two decades but the style and options have changed too much. So I gave this B+D a try. It works great! Simple to use, clean and operate. Brews coffee perfectly. Seems dependable and shuts off when it's supposed to do so. For the price range, you cannot go wrong.

Black & Decker coffee pot
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Good coffee pot lasts a long time still going today only downfall which you wouldn't get the five stars is the protective cover on the heat plate scrapes off too soon by putting the pot in and out.
