Here are some care tips for Monstera deliciosa:
Placement: Monstera deliciosa prefers medium or indirect light. Do not expose the plant to direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves.
Humidity: Monstera deliciosa prefers high humidity, so it is important to mist it regularly. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust, unblock the pores, and allow them to breathe and absorb moisture.
Soil: Monstera deliciosa prefers nutrient-rich, well-draining soil. The soil should always be moist but not overly wet. Generally, it is recommended to water the plant once or twice a week, depending on environmental conditions and the season.
Fertilizer: Use a liquid fertilizer applied once a month during the growing season (spring-summer).
Temperature: Monstera deliciosa grows best at temperatures between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius.
Younger or juvenile specimens do not show the characteristic fenestrated leaves of this species, but these will appear as they develop.
Some leaves may have mechanical defects, but these do not affect the plant's viability. Under optimal care conditions, new leaves will develop normally.
The plant's height is measured including the pot.
