String of Raindrops a widely believed to be a hybrid of the well known String of Pearls Senecio rowleyanus. It likes a warm, moist, semi-shady environment. It is highly adaptable, drought and cold tolerant.

The leaf shape is ellipsoidal, pointed at the front, resembling tears, green, fleshy leaves with a distinct longitudinal line, leaves borne in series on thin stems. The stem is slender and prostate, so that the stems and leaves dangle from its thin yellow-green stems like vines evenly suspended with more than ten to hundreds of pale, deep-colored, rounded and full fleshy leaves.

String of Raindrops sap has a sandalwood scent, which can be clearly smelled when the leaves are crushed. String of Raindrops blooms in the axils of the leaves to extend the head, tubular flowers white.

Hanging String of Raindrops plant is not only an excellent indoor foliage plant, but also a good indoor air purifying flower. Hanging String of Raindrops have a strong function of absorbing toxic gases, and a general room with one or two pots of hanging String of Raindrops can absorb all the toxic gases in the air. Also known as "green purifiers".

Care Tips

Light: String of Raindrops is more like semi-shade, exposure to sunlight may burn the beads, too little light is not strong growth. When raising them indoors, you can put them on the balcony and ensure that they get more than three hours of light a day, but be careful to avoid direct sunlight when attacking them.

Water: It mainly depends on the dryness of the soil. It is a succulent leaf, juicy and drought tolerant, usually the potting soil is almost dry before watering. Watering should not be done directly with large amounts of water, but slowly and thoroughly with a small spray can, or you can also spray the water on its leaves.

Soil: The soil must be loose, permeable and water-permeable, and the soil should be changed once every year or two to avoid soil caking. You can prepare your own nutritious soil when you maintain it, or you can buy special soil for succulent plants directly.

Potting: The plant has a very shallow root system and can be planted in shallow pots. Place a layer of clay pebbles on the bottom of the pot to increase air permeability and water filtration (especially if used with plastic pots).

Temperature: The best growing temperature is between 68-82°F (20-28℃), so it is important to keep it warm and place it in an air-conditioned room when it is too low in winter, and avoid direct sunlight in summer. High and low temperatures are slow to grow, especially above 86°F (30 ℃) are almost dormant, there should be less watering and fertilization, otherwise it is easy to rot.

Humidity: String of Raindrops grows well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Does not like too much humidity. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

Likeable characters, but only 75% complete story
      Format: Kindle
I really liked the characters introduced, but the author didn’t fully conceptualize everything. We know Lila works long hours, but despite being a college graduate we never learn anything about what she does, where she works, how much she gets paid, etc. For an omega who seemed to be able to support herself, that seemed an unusual oversight. We learn absolutely nothing about what she wants in life, either. Is she just surviving the post-college life struggle or working up to her dream job? Fiona the flamingo had more detail than some of the main characters, but she was 10/10 as good as Wendy for a side character. — spoilers ahead —- Separately, some of the plot details were contradictory, or just missing. On one page Lila and Larry were together for 18 months, on another it was 4 years. When did she even move in with him? What did she do while he was gaming? How long were she and Wendy friends for Lila to trust her like that but not know much about her? And why didn’t Lila’s alphas sue Larry to reduce Lila’s debt? Shopping seemed a weird choice pamper her without knowing more about Lila’s debt and plans to reduce it. And her alphas never even ask anything about her job, but she’s The One. Such a frustrating relationship plot hole. We never even learn anything about the alphas’ families or what they want in life either. I wish the author had written about 30 more pages fleshing out the details and showing how the alphas were just as in love with Lila’s personality as they were with her scent and body. Loved the concept, but I still feel like I read 3/4 of a book.

      It's mid
      Format: Kindle
There's a cute story there. The guys are sweet, but... I don't know. It's very vanilla. Not just the mediocre spicy scenes, but the whole story. It's just ok.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
      Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.

      Good But
      Format: Kindle
A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her. The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.
